Seed Pod Breeze
These sculptures take the basic materials of wood and paper to the next level. Locally found driftwood dictates each sculpture into a unique piece with an artist-made paper shade. The driftwood for these pieces have been prepared, stabilized and sealed for long lasting durability using various methods depending on each particular piece. The shades are fabricated using different combinations of a variety of papers and fibers over frameworks of reed, bamboo or thin driftwood. These shades are durable and protected by an artist-grade varnish. The exteriors may be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth. For safest operation, use only LED light bulbs.
